Benefits of Hiring a Personal Trainer/Coach

1) Detailing Goals

What are they? All of them. Without knowing what it is we’re aiming for, hitting the target goal is chaos. We need to lock in and set all efforts aimed at the goal. Are you trying to lose 20lbs? Are you trying to improve your vertical for volleyball? Are you trying to build confidence for an event, promotion, or any other opportunity? All of these goals are obtainable with the right coach and then roadmap to achieving.

2) Setting a Plan

How are we going to achieve the goals? What is our course of thought and action to achieve the goals? Our sights are set, what is our first step, second step, 56th step? How do get there? How will we adjust if setbacks occur? The Plan is the roadmap to hitting the target goal.

3) Education

Learn how your body burns energy and nutrients. Learn how your body reacts to different methods of training. Learn how to operate machines in the gym or fitness center. Learn proper form and movement of your own body. Learn how to pass this information along to others.

4) Progressing Your Current Program

Maybe you’ve been hitting the gym hard for 18 months. A lot of progress has been made, but you just feel “stuck,” and you don’t know why. You eat well, you train hard, you study and you’re assertive but you’re just “stuck.” Getting a set of fresh eyes on things can usually help break through plateaus of all types. Could be something as simple as adjusting your rest periods or maybe your form needs a modification, having the right coach next to you can make the difference and break you into the next level.

5) Accountability & Partnership

You’ve set and communicated your goals. We’ve met, we’ve started, I’ve looked you in the eye and guaranteed the goals will be met if we follow the plan. You’ve committed your hard earned money to this process. Your health, your energy, maybe your families well being is on the line. Having an accountability partner next to you, in your corner, knowing what to say and when to say it can be the tipping point to give you the extra push to reject the couch and get on a treadmill; To push away from the sweets and into healthy nutrition; To say NO to habits that lead to failure and shortcomings and YES to success and the mindset the goals to the table.

6) Achieving Goals

This is what it’s all about. Hire all the fancy Instagram gymnast trainers on the web, but you will know when you meet the one that speaks the language you need to hear, the trainer/coach that will make sure you have all the info, all the tools and the consistent reminder of why the goals are the goals and why they can never become second priority. Goals have to be non-negotiable and results guaranteed.
